Anna Collins – Director, Client Advisory Services
Anna began her career in Scotland, working in general management roles with ATG and Glasgow Life across a portfolio of prominent cultural venues. In 2012, she transitioned to freelance work, managing the design, delivery, and operation of a London 2012 Olympic venue. She subsequently led the development and operational planning of a new-build competition venue for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
Over the past decade, Anna has provided strategic leadership to clients undertaking major capital projects in the arts and cultural sector. Her clients have included The Guardian News & Media Group, the National Theatre, Cambridge Arts Theatre, Northamptonshire Council, and Factory International.
Notably, Anna was Project Director for the RIBA Award-winning Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts’ new home in Peckham. Since 2020, she has led the Dunard Centre project—set to be the UK’s first concert hall designed by Nagata Acoustics and David Chipperfield Architects. The 1,000-seat venue will become the permanent home of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and a flagship space for the Edinburgh International Festival.
In addition to her project work, Anna sits on the committee for Edinburgh’s Royal High School National Centre for Music, supporting the transformation of Thomas Hamilton’s Grade A listed building into a world-class performance venue. In 2024, she was appointed to the board of the Theatres Trust by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.
Anna leads the client advisory service within the practice, bringing deep expertise in cultural infrastructure, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning.
