Shortlisted Competition: Community pavilion, allotment market space, Leith

Michael Collins Architect was shortlisted in a UK wide competition in Collaboration with Oliver Chapman Architects, and engineers Harley Haddow and David Narro Associates for the conversion of the former Leith links Sports Pavilion into a new community hub for Leith Crops and pots. Leith Crops and Pots aims to promote growing edible crops and herbs to community and school groups within the urban environment of Leith, Edinburgh.

The proposals aimed to open up the historic structure to the street, to create a 'visible kitchen' for preparing produce, a new cafe, and meeting space.
