An extension to a historic fishing cottage within the conservation area of Cellardyke Anstruther. Built off the stone Skerrie a new folded copper clad roof resolves the quirk of the sites geometry owing to its geology. Internally the existing stair was retained and an existing alley or ' wynd' reinstated as a dramatic hallway framing glimpses of the sea. A new kitchen space enjoys views toward to Isle of May.
